What it costs
Two things we are not hiding from you.
No bank connection.
You import a CSV statement, or enter spending as you go. An aggregator spares you that — and shows you the expense once it is already done. Here it shows up while you can still decide.
Some of your time, every month.
Assigning what comes in, settling an overspend: those are decisions, and they are yours. Arca prepares everything else — it only asks for the calls it cannot make for you.
The method
Every euro is assigned before it’s spent.
Envelope budgeting: you share out the money you actually have, until nothing is left to assign. No forecast, no average — only the money that exists.

Security
What protects your budget — and what it does not.
- Your password never reaches us. It is derived on your device, and only the proof of it travels.
- Disks are encrypted at rest. Nobody on our team reads your budget: the admin console only ever shows metadata, and every action there is logged.
What this does not do: your budget stays readable by our servers. We do not claim otherwise.

They are not scores we invent. Arca computes them from your own transactions, and they only move because your situation moves.
The age of your money.
The number of days between money arriving and you spending it. When the month ends at zero, it hovers near zero. It climbs as you start spending money that arrived a while ago.
Your months ahead.
What is left in your envelopes, divided by what you spend in an average month. At one month ahead, next month is already funded — you are no longer waiting on payday.
Frequently asked questions
Is the beta really free?
Yes. Every feature, for the whole beta, and we never ask for payment details. There is no trial running in the background and no hidden countdown.
Will Arca stay free?
No — Arca will become paid one day. Hosting the sync costs money, and we would rather say so plainly than pretend otherwise. What we commit to is the way it happens: at least 60 days’ notice, by email, with the exact price.
What happens the day it becomes paid?
Nothing automatic. To become a subscriber you will have to place an order yourself, knowingly. If you do nothing, you are not charged: your budget simply becomes view-only — you can still browse and export it.
Arca is in public beta. Every feature is open, and nothing is ever charged.
